Australian cricketer Steve Smith shares a video on Instagram of himself teaching batting to young players in lockdown

Due to this, all cricketers are at home and spending quality time with their families. In such a situation, Australian batsman Steve Smith, who is locked in his home, has given some batting tips to young players through a video on Thursday.

In this three-minute video posted on Instagram, Steve Smith has given two tips that every player should have. Along with the video, he wrote in the caption that “I’ve had lots of people asking me to share some hints and tips on batting. This video is on what I like to call the first authentic swing. I’ll share the second authentic swing in a few day’s time. Let me what else you would like to see”
The 30-year-old batsman has described running the bat in two ways, using the upper hand while holding the first bat which helps drive the ball. Another way is to use the lower hand so that you can hit the ball in the air.
Also in this video, the Australian batsman has also talked about the movement of the foot and told that the batsman should put his first foot in the direction in which he wants to hit the ball. Also, the knee should be bent with the feet up and the head should be in its line above the ball. At the end of the video, he also mentions some tips to improve foot movement.
