In this three-minute video posted on Instagram, Steve Smith

has given two tips that every player should have. Along with the video, he wrote in the caption that “I’ve had lots of people asking me to share some hints and tips on batting. This video is on what I like to call the first authentic swing. I’ll share the second authentic swing in a few day’s time. Let me what else you would like to see”

Steve Smith shares batting tips on Instagram

The 30-year-old batsman has described running the bat in two ways, using the upper hand while holding the first bat which helps drive the ball. Another way is to use the lower hand so that you can hit the ball in the air.
