There was a time when Mahendra Singh Dhoni was known for his long hair. His long hair was discussed when MS Dhoni took off his helmet to greet the audience after stormy innings of 148 runs against Pakistan and completing his maiden century.
On the second day of that 2005 match, newspapers had a long-haired photo of MS Dhoni praising his hair along with a century.
MS Dhoni, who made his debut in international cricket in 2004, became the captain of the team in the year 2007. He captained the team in the first season of the 2007 T20 World Cup and gave the team the title of the World Cup.
India had won the title by defeating Pakistan. Although Dhoni got his long hair cut sometime after winning the T20 World Cup in 2007, Mahi’s fans still love his long-haired picture.
