Yuvraj Singh retired after the 2019 World Cup last year and he was one of the greatest cricketers that India has ever produced. No one can forget his six sixes against Stuart Broad in an over and his contribution to the team with his all-rounder performance in the 2011 World Cup.

The career of Yuvraj Singh after the 2011 World Cup remained up down due to Cancer. After recovering from the Cancer Yuvraj Singh didn’t remain the part of the Indian team regularly. Because of that only he took the decision to retire last year. Yuvraj Singh announced his retirement on June 10, 2019, and he didn’t even get a send-off from the Board.

For this Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh has accused the former Indian captain MS Dhoni so many times. But this time he also accuses the current Indian captain Virat Kohli for stabbing Yuvraj Singh in his back.

Yograj Singh said that MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli did not support Yuvraj but they stab him in the back. Before Yograj, Yuvraj also said a few days ago that Dhoni and Virat Kohli did not support him that much. Talking to News24, Yograj Singh told an incident of meeting him with Ravi Shastri recently

“Along with these two, I would say that even the selectors betrayed him. I had met Ravi recently. He asked me for a photograph. I called him and pointed out that all great players should get a send-off based on their performances. When Dhoni, Kohli or Rohit retire, I would request the board to give them a good send-off as they have done so much for Indian cricket. Many have backstabbed him and it hurts,” he said.

Yograj Singh slams Indian selectors

Yograj Singh also slammed the selecting panel of the Indian team and especially selector Sharandeep Singh, saying that he always wanted Yuvraj Singh out of the team.

“Indian selector Sharandeep Singh, he used to go to meetings and say that Yuvraj should be dropped. Such people are appointed as selectors who do not know the ABC of cricket. What do you expect from them? It hurts when someone backstabs you. Everybody was worried about what would happen to them if Yuvraj continues to perform,” Yograj added.

Yuvraj Singh too recently said that I did not get that much support from Dhoni and Kohli as captain. His gesture was clear that there was no specific effort from both of them to join the team. Yuvi was well supported under the captaincy of Sourav Ganguly.
