West Indies had selected 30 potential players for the England tour. West Indies have to play three Test matches on a tour of England. The tour was earlier scheduled to begin in June but was postponed until July due to the coronavirus epidemic. Cricket West Indies and England and Wales Cricket Board are both in favor of organizing this tour.
West Indies captain Jason Holder has made a big statement about this tour. Jason Holder says that no player will be forced to go on a tour of England. Due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the England and Wales Cricket Board has banned all types of professional cricket till 1 July.
The BBC quoted Holder as saying,
“Each player has to be comfortable in making the step. It’s been made clear if we are to hop on a plane and go over to England to play, it must be safe. Certainly, from my perspective, I won’t be forcing anyone to go anywhere,”
Earlier, Cricket West Indies chief executive Johnny Grave had said that the players would remain in quarantine for 14 days upon reaching England. Johnny Grave said that he expected the players to be in quarantine for two weeks when they arrived there.

But he is also discussing with the ECB that arrangements should be made for the players to have outdoor spaces where they can train. He is hoping that we will be provided with a hotel in which we can practice cricket in a safe environment.
Significantly, due to the coronavirus epidemic these days many cricket boards are facing a financial crisis. West Indies board is also one of the most affected boards. The financial condition of the West Indies Cricket Board came to a standstill due to the cancellation of the tour. In such a situation, the tour of England is going to be very important for him.
