Warner said on the use of spit on the ball, ‘I don’t think it should be a problem’

There is speculation that saliva will no longer be used to shine the ball in cricket to avoid the coronavirus infection. But Australia’s star opener David Warner has a different opinion. He feels that it is no more or less risky than sharing the dressing room with fellow players.

“You’re sharing change rooms and you’re sharing everything else, I don’t see why you have to change that,” Warner told ‘cricket.com.au’.

“I’ve never been a huge fan of the saliva on the ball, it’s not very nice really,” shaun Tait said.

”Waqar Younus said,“ Using saliva and sweat is a natural process. It is like a habit you cannot control it. It is not possible to stop him from using saliva and sweat during the game.
