Actually, Shami suffered an injury during the World Cup in 2015. It took them 18 months to recover. After this, in the year 2018, his wife Hasin Jahan also accused him of domestic violence. As a result, a local court in West Bengal issued an arrest warrant against Shami in the domestic violence case in September last year. “It was not easy for him to deal with pressure in his personal and professional life. He thought of committing suicide not once but thrice. The media was covering my personal issues in a big way. If my family did not support me, I would have committed suicide. Our house was on the 24th floor, due to which someone was always in the room with me that I should not jump. “
