Sri Lanka to start cricket from the PDC T10 League

In the midst of the coronavirus, Sri Lanka has also announced a PDC T10 league. This is going to be the first time cricket will be played in Sri Lanka since lockdown because of coronavirus. Earlier South Africa also announced a 3T cricket league to start cricket in its country.

Sri Lanka will start cricket from the PDC T10 League, a 12-day tournament starting from 25 June. In this PDC T10 League, some of the country’s top cricketers will participate.

According to the information, in this league 8 teams are going to participate. These 8 will participate in two groups. These 8 teams will play a total of 46 matches at the historical and World Heritage Site Anuradhapura.

The players participating in this competition include Ajantha Mendis, Chamara Silva, Nuwan Kulasekara, Asela Gunarathna, Dhammika Prasad, Sachithra Senanayake, Chamara Kapugedra, Thilan Thushara, and Ishara Amerasinghe.

Names of 8 teams are Hurricane Blasters, Spartan Heroes, Power Gladiators, Chillow Warriors, Puttlum Stars, Global Riders, Royal Lions, and Giant Legends.

The group stage will be played on a round-robin league basis. After that qualifier and eliminator matches, and then the final. All these matches will be streamed on the SportsTiger app which also had the right to stream the Pakistan Super League 2020.
