Pakistan wins the T20I series by 2-1 against Zimbabwe

Pakistan cricket team won the final match of the three-match T20I series on Sunday against Zimbabwe. With this Pakistan has also won the series with 2-1 before moving to the 2 match test series.

Talking about the match once it was looking that Zimbabwe can win the match but something happened during the match and Zimbabwe’s team lost the match by 24 runs. Pakistan batting first scored 165 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 3 wickets only.

For Pakistan 28 years old Mohammad Rizwan scored 91 runs in 60 balls. His inning included 5 fours and 3 sixes. With this Pakistan team’s captain, Babar Azam also played a handy role and scored his 18th T20I fifty and scored 52 runs in 46 balls before he got out to Luke Jongwe.

For Zimbabwe  Luke Jongwe took all three wickets of the Pakistan team in his 4 overs conceding 37 runs.

While chasing the target of 166 runs Zimbabwe’s team was in a good position at a moment. After 13 over Zimbabwe was at 101-1 and needed 65 runs in 7 overs with 9 wickets in hands. The match was in hands of the Zimbabwe team.

But after that Zimbabwe team piled up like a stack of cards and ended losing the match by 24 runs. For Pakistan, Hasan Ali took 4 wickets in his 4 overs and he just gave 18 runs in his 4 overs.

What’s Next?

Pakistan team to play two test matches on this tour after this T20I series. Both the match will be played at Harare stadium only. The first match will start on 29th April and after that, both the team will meet again on the same ground on 7th May.
