Veteran Bollywood actor, Suniel Shetty took part in an interview recently where he touched the topics of IPL 2020, India’s chances in the T20 World Cup, and also MS Dhoni’s future in the world of cricket. There is a huge question mark over the Ranchi-based player’s retirement as no one knows what’s next for him.
In case you forgot, MS Dhoni played his last competitive match way back in July 2019 during the World Cup semifinal against New Zealand. Martin Guptill ran him out in an epic way that evening as India’s most successful captain walked with his head down.

After Dhoni took a break, Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson tried to take his place in the team. Unfortunately, both the youngsters did not live up to the expectations.
When asked whom he would pick as the wicket-keeper of his Indian team for the 2020 T20 World Cup, the actor replied:
“Between Pant and Samson, I see MS Dhoni and only MS Dhoni for the World Cup. I feel he is getting fit out there and he will be back in a very very big way. Players from across the world feel that if Dhoni is there, it’s a strong team. Dhoni will play, he will score in the IPL.”

When asked how Rishabh Pant and S anju Samson can improve their performance, he answered:
“Pant and Samson are very talented. Samson hasn’t got his chances. Pant is supremely talented but he needs to lose 4-5 kg of weight. It’s a positive thing I mean to say, but as far as wellness and fitness goes, there’s a difference in movement.”
