The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday informed that pacer Mohammad Amir and middle-order batsman Haris Sohail have withdrawn their names from the tour of England due to personal reasons.
Mohammad Amir retired from the Test cricket last year, So he was eligible for only T20 squad but he has withdrawn his name. As per the press release, Mohammad Amir withdrew his name as he is going to have a second child and Haris Sohail will miss due to family reasons.
As per press release,
“Amir has withdrawn so that he can be at the birth of his second child in August, while Haris will miss the tour because of family reasons,”
The Pakistan Cricket Board will send support staff of 28 players and 14 players to England. On this tour, Pakistan will play three Tests and three T20I. This tour is scheduled to play in August and September. The team and schedule of this tour are not announced yet.

Earlier, the PCB announced that it would not camp for the national team before going on a tour of England. The board had said that the condition is not good due to corona in the country. Therefore players will not be able to practice outside.
PCB is already in talks with the ECB for an early departure in July. So that the Pakistan team can get extra time to practice and the team can benefit from it.
