On Wednesday in the meeting of ICC, the information about the possibility of organizing the World Cup has been revealed. As per ICC, for the next month, the ICC will work on a different plan to organize the T20 World Cup this year.

To organize the ICC Women’s World Cup in 2021 on time, a plan will be made by the ICC. Earlier, the ICC had said that it would not take any decision on postponing the T20 World Cup by August.

By the rising havoc of the Coronavirus clouds of crisis are on the T20 World Cup organization. Due to the lockdown, the preparations of the World Cup are also affected.

Apart from this, Cricket Australia, which has the right to host the World Cup, also announced a cut in the salary of 80 percent of its staff. Cricket Australia’s decision also affected the preparations for the World Cup.

Another major problem in organizing the World Cup is the closing of the borders of the countries. Australia has closed the borders of its country till September. As of now, it is not clear what options will be explored regarding the World Cup.

Apart from these speculations are also being made that if T20 World Cup is canceled this year then it can be organized in 2022. The 13th season of IPL may be organized in October-November if the T20 World Cup is canceled this year.
