Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) secretary Snehasish Ganguly’s wife is tested positive for Coronavirus. Snehasish is the elder brother of BCCI President Sourav Ganguly. Both Sourav Ganguly and Snehasish have played together in Ranji. Earlier Snehasish Ganguly’s father-in-law and mother-in-law also tested positive for Coronavirus.
Apart from this at their Mominpur’s house, a domestic servant also tested positive earlier. Treatment of all these is going on in a private hospital.

According to the PTI, Snehasish Ganguly tested negative for the coronavirus. As per rules he has kept himself in isolation. According to authorized sources, all four of them had some health problems. Symptoms of COVID 19 were visible in everyone.
These people were not staying at Ganguly’s ancestral residence but in some other house. However, no official statement from Sourav Ganguly or his family has been revealed so far.
The cases of coronavirus in the country have increased rapidly to four lakhs. In the last 24 hours, there are 14,516 new cases and 375 deaths. The total number of Covid-19 cases in India so far has been 3,95,048. Of this, 2,13,831 have been cured, while 1,68,269 are active cases.
The total death toll has increased to 12,948. There is an increase in the speed of testing for corona in comparison to earlier. WHO has already declared this coronavirus as a worldwide epidemic. Cases in the are increasing at a massive speed wordwide and especially in the USA.
Due to this coronavirus, BCCI postponed the IPL 13 for an indefinite period. Recently, former Pakistani cricketer, Shahid Afridi tested corona positive.
