Former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi has been infected with the Coronavirus. Shahid Afridi has shared information about being Coronavirus positive through his twitter handle himself.

Giving information about his health on the tweet, he wrote,

I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately, I’m COVID positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah

Afridi has been working for the last several months through his foundation to help people infected and affected by corona in Pakistan. He is carrying out the responsibility of delivering food and essential goods to the people.

Afridi had last month sought the help of two legendary former all-rounders of the Indian cricket team, Yuvraj Singh and spinner Harbhajan Singh, to raise money to help those affected by the coronavirus. Both Yuvraj and Bhajji helped him in this noble cause and helped to raise money.

Due to this deadly coronavirus, many sportspeople have been infected worldwide. All the sports events had postponed or cancelled. The upcoming T20 World Cup is also in danger due to the coronavirus. Australia is going to organise the T20 World Cup this year.
