England series will be difficult for Pakistan: Saeed Ajmal

Pakistan team has reached England to play three Test matches and three T20 matches series to return to international cricket. The Pakistan cricket team is currently in quarantine and is also training with it. Due to Covid-19, the players could not train in Pakistan.

After reaching England, Pakistani players have started training in a bio-secure environment. The series between the two countries is to begin from August 5. Meanwhile, former Pakistan cricketer Saeed Ajmal feels that it will be difficult for Pakistan to win even one match on this tour.

Saeed Ajmal said in a conversation with ‘Ary Sports’,

“[The] Pakistan team consists of young players, [the] England series will be difficult for them. It does not seem possible for Pakistan to win the series.”

“It would be a miracle if Pakistan even wins one match. As a Pakistani, I pray that the national team performs well in the series,” Pakistan cricketer Saeed Ajmal added.

On this tour, the series between Pakistan and England will begin with the Test match. After both teams will play the T20 series. International cricket has started in England from 8 July. A three-match Test series is being played between England and West Indies. After this series, the series will begin between England and Pakistan.

The first test between England and Pakistan will start on 5th August at Old Trafford and that too without the audience. Ageas Bowl in Southampton will host the remaining two test matches. The second match by played from 13 to 17 August and the third test match from 21 to 25 August.

After the Test series, the three-match T20 International series will be played from August 28. Ageas Bowl will host all three T20 matches.
