The Indian cricket team has excelled a lot in the last few years. The main reason behind the improvement in the Indian team’s performance has been the betterment of the fielding and bowling departments. India has always had a stellar batting unit. However, the team did not have a solid bowling or fielding unit in previous years.

Since 2010, the level of fielding and bowling has gone up thanks to the introduction of the Indian Premier League. The Indian team has got many new talents because of the tournament, with the likes of Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal being the top names.

Deep Dasgupta picks Indian batting as the best bowling attack

There is a lot of variety in the Indian pace bowling attack now with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Bumrah, Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, Mohammad Siraj, Hardik Pandya, and Ishan Porel being the options available. Cricket expert Deep Dasgupta recently disclosed in his live session with Sportskeeda that:

“At this point of time, I think India. I think India would be the best bowling side… Australia are pretty close. I think it’s very difficult to judge between Australia and India right now. Australia have superb fast bowlers, very different kind of fast bowlers as well. You have a Starc as a left-armer seamer as well who is an out-and-out quick. He isn’t bothered about the lines and lengths and just comes at you all the time. And then you have Nathan Lyon. He is magic.”

Australia is another team that has got a fiery bowling attack right now. Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, and Nathan Lyon have incredible talent. In fact, Cummins recently became the most expensive overseas signing in IPL history. However, the former Indian wicket-keeper feels that Virat Kohli’s side has an even better bowling attack.
