English all-rounder, Ben Stokes has stated that he is willing to surpass any limit to bring cricket back on the television screens. The fans have not been able to witness any live cricket action since the last few weeks because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Hence, Stokes has voiced out his support to the community.
In case you forgot, the New Zealand-based all-rounder had helped England win their first World Cup in 2019 with his all-round brilliance in the final. He even helped his team save the Ashes with some unbelievable innings.
During his recent interview with BBC Radio 5 Live, Stokes answered if playing without fans would have a negative impact on the game. He said:
“No, I don’t think so whatsoever. If you think about it, we’re walking out to represent our country, we’ve got the Three Lions on our chest and there’s a game in front of us for us to win. Whether that’s in front of nobody or like we’re used to in front of a full crowd, I don’t think it’s going to take that competitive side away.”

The former Rising Pune Supergiant player admitted that the cricketers need to adjust to the new atmosphere and should be ready to entertain the fans. He continued:
“We would do anything to get cricket back on the TVs and for people to follow and watch, and if that means we have to play in front of nobody then so be it.”
