When Mohammad Kaif was asked about the allegations made by Yuvraj Singh’s father Yograj Singh on MS Dhoni in a live session on the Hello app, he said that I think the allegations of Yuvraj’s father are not true.

Yuvraj was the champion of the shorter format. He should have got more opportunities, but when someone loses form in India and performs poorly in some matches, it becomes difficult for him to maintain the place in the team.

Mohammad Kaif said that many talented players in the country are desperate to make a place in the team and wait for the opportunity. At such a time, if any player loses form then it becomes difficult for him to save his place in the team.

“I don’t think that Yuvi’s father’s allegation is true. But yes, Yuvi is a shorter format cricket champion, he should have got more opportunity. But in India, if a player lost his form for few matches then it’s not easy to save the spot. Because many talented players are waiting to enter Team India,”

Kaif, who was the hero of the Network series in 2002, said that the allegations against MS Dhoni

are not true. He has been the most successful captain of limited-overs cricket, Dhoni deserves independence

He should get some freedom to choose their team. You would question him when he proved to be a failure, but his records are good. Kaif said that Dhoni has won many titles for India. That is why the selectors will give him the freedom and respect his suggestion. You cannot call it partiality.

“Dhoni is the most successful white-ball cricket captain. He deserves some freedom to select his own team. You can question him when he fails to deliver. But his records are spectacular. He won many trophies for India. So, the selectors will give the freedom and values his suggestions. It will not become favoritism
