The friendship of former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly and former English captain Nasser Hussain has become deeper after retirement. Prior to retirement, both of these players have been tough rivals on the playground.

The two often praise each other. Nasser Hussain believes that former Indian captain and current BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has played a key role in making India the world powerhouse of cricket. Recently a fun banter is going on on social media between the two former players.

Sourav Ganguly on Saturday shared a collage from his official Twitter account. He shared this collage while celebrating 24 years of his Test debut. Ganguly made his Test debut at Lord’s on 20 June 1996 against England.

Sourav Ganguly made it even more special by scoring a century on his debut. Ganguly scored 131 runs in the first innings of that match. With this, he became the 10th batsman to score a century in his first Test match.

Ganguly, however, made his international debut in the one-day match played against West Indies in 1992. He could score only three runs in this match and stay out for the next four years.

Sharing this collage, Ganguly wrote, “Made my debut today .. life’s best moment”

Replying to this tweet, Nasser Hussain wrote, “No pictures of you bowling that week … “

After that Sourav Ganguly trolled Nasser Hussain, sharing a picture of him before the final of the NatWest Trophy. While sharing the picture, he wrote, “Hi Nass .. when was this picture taken .. losing memory with old age Thinking face…need my mates help”

Reacting to Ganguly’s tweet, Mohammad Kaif also trolled Nasser by tweeting the tales of a bus driver. Mohammad Kaif tweeted,

Nasser Hussain shared a GIF on this. Ganguly also replied to the GIF. At the same time, Ganguly wrote, “Young Nas, already thinking of captaincy.”
